Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American actress and singer was born on the 20th of October 20th, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. She began her career after her service as a member of the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2003, she appeared in an Israeli movie. This was her major break. At the time , she played in two TV shows in the country. She she also tried her hand at music and recorded a number of songs together with Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal relocated with her sister to New York in order to have a break from her work. She teamed up with Haitian artist Wyclef Jean on the hit song "Party to Damascus". American television also saw her rise to fame, beginning with a regular role on the television show Veronica Mars. She initially attempted to audition for the role of lead but creator Rob Thomas created a new character for her. Later, Tal was offered a regular part in the CBS series. After making the move to New York, he appeared in two shows on TV in Israel. Recorded a track with singer Wyclef Jean. Her mother tongue is Hebrew. Came in second for the character of Veronica in Veronica Mars (2004).Originally she auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the lead role. Thomas was so in love with her that he chose to play the role of Meg Manning for her. He was in The Israel Defense Forces. Both her parents are Jews--her father is Turkish/Jewish, and her mother is Polish/Jewish. As Adrian's daughter, she plays Monk's murderous wife in the final episode of the season finale of Monk (2002).Has an infant daughter, Charlie Ferraez (b.March 7, 2017) and her husband Marcos A. Ferraez.
