Rosario Isabel Dawson Bio

Rosario Isabel Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American producer and actress. In 1995, she made her debut in a feature film with the drama independent Kids. In the following years, she was a part of films like He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (1901), Men in Black II (2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven Pounds (2008) and Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2010). Dawson has voiced for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. She was also nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Award for the Best Actress In a Comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014), and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born in New York City on May 9th 1979. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican ancestry. Isabel was 16 years old at the time that Rosario was born; she never married Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was one year old, her mother married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four years older than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also known for her roles in comic-book adaptations. In 2020, she portrayed Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is expected to be a part of the new Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She also has a recurring role in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
